Hospital launches campaign to serve people with dignity

“We wanted to show people that we care. We need to ensure that people in the public sector treat people with the intention of wanting to help them."

The Far East Rand Hospital launched it We Serve With A Smile campaign on March 3.
CEO Sonwabo Lindani said the purpose of the campaign is about serving people with dignity.

“We wanted to show people that we care. We need to ensure that people in the public sector treat people with the intention of wanting to help them,” said Lindani.
He said that when patients come to the hospital, they need to feel at home.

“Every Friday, we will affirm staff and listen to their challenges. We will pledge, commit and make them serve with a smile,” he said.
He told the Advertiser the programme will be ongoing while he serves as CEO.
