Companies team up to make a difference at Paynevile Primary School

The school's learners were the beneficiaries of school essentials and toiletries.

Gold One Mine, the Tambo Community Develop Cooperation, Women in Mining and an organisation called Community Structure donated school shoes, school bags and toiletries to learners at Payneville Primary School on May 17.

“It is great to see learners happy to receive school necessities and it an incentive for them to work hard,” said Nceba Gomomo from Tambo Community Develop Cooperation.
Community Structure and Women in Mining representative Nosipho Shilaby said it has always been their mission to donate school shoes to learners.

“We decided to donate toiletries to the children, encouraging them to take care of and love themselves,” she said.
Principal of Payneville Primary School Vusi Masuku thanked the companies for the donations.
“Doing this for our children is encouraging. This gesture ensures them that school is important for their future. We hope it does not end here but, this will also benefit other schools in need,” said Masuku.
