It was an unbelievable performance by the u-21 Springs Rugby Club on Saturday to secure a win for their Valke Peregrine League title.
Springs won 53-7 against Sasolburg at the Springs Rugby Stadium with an awesome dominance during the first half.
Their defence was like a wall and overall they became a better team.
Springs coach Pieter Smit said the game was stopped with 27 minutes to go due to so many injuries on the visitors’ side.

“Our man of the match with two superb tries was wing Gichwin Jansen. He played very well and the team was proud of him,’’ said coach Smit.
Smit believes he has a strong team.
“Our next game is on May 28 against Boksburg. We will be more prepared and will be taking the full strength team that is available for selection.
“We treat every game as a hard game and we do not underestimate any team,” said Smit.
Springs are third on the log.
