Springs Muslim School learners qualify for district level in maths olympiad
Three Springs Muslim school learners were selected to participate in the Olympiad.
To promote quality education in schools, a mathematics olympiad was organised to ensure that learners excel in cluster, district, provincial, regional and international assessments.
On June 6, Taskeen Laher (Grade Eight), Halima Vohra (Grade Eight) and Ridha Smith (Grade Nine) from Springs Muslim School participated in the Olympiad.
The competition took place at Laerskool Werda where two top learners in the senior phase, from grades seven to nine, were chosen to compete at the cluster level. After competing at the cluster level, the top ten learners from different schools were chosen for the district level.
