Local church hosts graduation and ordination ceremonies
"This journey proves that you're never to young to be called to serve the Lord."
International Christian Brethren Church in Slovo Park held its graduation and ordination ceremonies over the weekend.
This was in line with the theological study programmes a select group of members undertook to have both theoretical and practical knowledge for the positions they were to occupy in the church.

“One cannot occupy a position in the church without understanding it historically first. There is a foundation that needs to be formed with education and faith,” declared Bishop Shadrack Msimango.
The graduation ceremony was held on Saturday in collaboration with the Five-Fold Ministries Bible College.

Graduates were fetched by a convoy of cars and taken to the church for the ceremony where they were rewarded with their certificates of completion.

They also recited Bible verses as a covenant to the church and the congregation as a pledge for their new position.
“It is an honour to have taken this journey. The road was long, but we have made it,” said Bishop Mbongiseni Khoza.
