Bakerton resident collects and preserves heart-shaped potatoes

Ishaivani Pillay (55), a resident of Bakerton, has been collecting heart-shaped potatoes.

She found her first two small ones 10 years ago and proceeded to preserve them.

She found a larger potato in January and has also preserved it.

“I believe in February as the month of love because of all the awesome spoils that I receive. It reminds me that Valentine’s is not just for lovers but for all your loved ones as well,” she said.
