The City of Ekurhuleni welcomes the latest development that Eskom has completed repairs of the electrical fault which affected Rand Water’s Mapleton Booster Station resulting in a few suburbs in and around Ekurhuleni being without water.

While repairs have been completed, residents remain without water while reservoirs are recovering.

According to the municipality, the reservoir levels are around 18% which impacts the water supply.

Brakpan, Tsakani and Springs are among some of the affected areas.
