Dr WK du Plessis School educators and learners rewarded

Dr WK du Plessis School was one of the top-performing schools from the Gauteng East District to be recognised by the Gauteng Department of Education at a prize-giving ceremony on February 10.

The school received recognition for its 2022 matric accomplishments and for being the top LSEN school in the Gauteng East District.

Heinrich Terblanche, the school’s Grade 12 agricultural technology teacher, was honoured as the best educator, while Jean-Henry Peacock was named the outstanding Grade 12 learner in agricultural technology.

Furthermore, Anel Strydom was recognised as the top Grade 12 LSEN learner in the Gauteng East District.
