MPact hosts sports tournament
Local businesses around Ekurhuleni got together to play in a friendly sports tournament.
Mpact hosted a sports tournament on Saturday. This is part of an initiative to get all local businesses together for some networking and healthy fun.
Tammy Dixon, a representative of Mpact, said local businesses try to hold these tournaments every business quarter.
“It has been one interesting journey,” she said.
The tournament was held at the Laerskool Werda sports grounds.
“Werda was gracious enough to allow us to use their facilities and for that we are grateful. We have treated the place with respect as not to tarnish our names and reputation,” added Tammy.
The netball tournament wasn’t as well attended as the soccer games due to teams pulling out at the last minute.
There was a prize-giving ceremony where all participating teams received certificates of attendance.
