Springs Karate Club hosts first market

The Springs Karate Club held their first market for fundraising efforts.

The Springs Karate Club held its first market on Saturday. This market was Easter-themed and held at their premises in Geduld.

Jenny MacKenzie, the organiser, said she hopes to have the market every month.

“There weren’t a lot of people who came, but I consider this a huge success,” remarked Jenny.

There were stalls with various foods and items on display.

There were also many activities for the children, including a jumping castle and a trampoline.

An Easter egg hunt and some dancing were the highlights of the evening for some.

“I would love to have the market every month if I could,” Jenny said.
