Pollak Parks golf champs a ‘world-class event’

Pollak Park Golf Club recently held its annual club championships with its new tournament sponsor, MUJI Motors.

Over 100 eager golfers participated in what club representative Merlene Nel described as a “world-class event”.

The winners were:

• Ladies’ club championship: Netesjke Bronkhorst with 168 gross.
• Ladies’ bronze division: Michelle Scott with 199 gross.
• Ladies’ copper division: Bertie Lotz with an IPS of 55 points.
• Men’s club championship: Tristan Greyling with 143 gross.
• Men’s B division: Kobie Grobler with 172 gross.
• Men’s C division: Johan Beytell with an IPS of 76.

“The course was in immaculate condition, and the players were welcomed by our new sponsor,” said Nel.

The club expresses gratitude to everyone who participated in and attended the annual club championships.
