Team H2O Swimming Club held their end-of-season fun gala on Saturday.
Although the weather was not ideal for swimming, it did not stop the swimmers and parents from having a fun day out.
From the youngest swimmer of four years old to some of the parents, everyone braved the icy water for lots of fun races.
This included the 25m noodle race, kicker board races and for older swimmers 25m and 50m sprint races.
The mom’s race had six brave moms swimming a 25m freestyle race and in a separate race, two brave dads swam an individual medley race.
“It was wonderful to see the senior swimmers jump in and swim alongside the little ones and encourage them to get across the 25m pool.
“For some of the little ones it was their first time swimming in a ‘big’ pool,” said coach Heather Grafe.
