Local NPO MachKnitz encouraged knitters and crocheters to unite and enjoy each other’s company every Wednesday when it hosts its market day.

It’s also a day for experienced knitters and crocheters to teach others how to do these needle crafts.

The groups gather to share experiences while gazing at the winter sunshine over tea, coffee, and baked goods.

MachKnitz has an impressive variety of unique knitted garments, jams, rusks, preloved books, wool, knitting machines and more items.

The MachKnitz Centrum is on 62 Mentz Street, Casseldale.
