Parkies’ cross-country athletes chosen for D5 athletics team
Three learners qualified for the Gauteng Cross-Country Championships.
Twenty-two learners from Laerskool Selection Park qualified for the D5 Gauteng cross-country recently.
The athletes were selected as runners-up in the cross-country league.
From the group, three learners went through to the Gauteng Cross Country Championships, which will be held on September 2. They are Miah van Nieuwenhuizen, Dante de Beer and Kara Beytell.
The school congratulated team coaches Jané Vermaak, Janika Pretorius and Maria Carstens for their continuous support and it boasts its pride to all the learners who participated.
