Zime encourages fellow matriculants as finals approach

The matriculant continues to make everyone proud as she bags distinctions every term.

The matric academic year has ended and the matriculants are now in full preparation for their final exams.

Zime Londe has once again bagged distinctions in all her subjects at the school’s term two academic awards ceremony.

The teenager was all too happy to discuss her winning formula for her academic performance.

“My need to do good in school comes from the pressure of wanting to succeed,” she said.

She adds that in the beginning, she struggled because she didn’t have a study routine but once she realised the importance of having one, she found one that works just for her.

“I sleep early and wake up around 21:00 to study. I then sleep at around 02:00 to be rested for the next day at school,” she said.

She mentions how imperative it is to have a study routine.

“It helps you focus and get things done in order,” she said.

When she is not studying, she rests her mind by spending time with her elder sister.

“I love to spend time with my older sister, especially when we catch up and watch movies,” she said.

Zime advises her fellow matriculants to be positive as they enter the last leg of their matric year.

“Being successful is all in the mind, when you see yourself as a failure then you will surely fail.

“Always place yourself in a positive light so that good things may come to you easier,” she added.
