WATCH: Gift bags another belt

On Thursday night, the EFC 107 fight card featured the highly-anticipated flyweight title fight between Gift ‘The Day’ Walker and Terrence ‘The Black Panther’ Balelo.

The event took place at the EFC Performance Institute in Johannesburg.

Neither competitor had ever left a result in the judges’ hands, with both displaying raw first-round finishing power throughout their undefeated careers inside the hexagon.

“The fight went well, and I prepared adequately for it,” said Walker, who won.

He admitted he had a few injuries before the fight.

“I feel super-blessed to walk away with the win,” he added.

Walker said he wanted to focus on resting and healing his body.

“Once healed, I will be ready to return to the cage to defend my title,” he concluded.
