Many stalls ran out of products very early in the day.
Laerskool Werda recently hosted a market day for its learners. The event allowed the Grade Seven learners to showcase the skills they had learnt in class.
The day also served as a form of assessment while giving the learners a real-time experience of entrepreneurship.
Teachers also dressed up to provide support and a fun learning experience for their learners.
Grade Seven learners sold their wares to their peers to generate income.
There were stalls for food and young ladies could also get their nails done.
The day’s main sponsor, Mpact, donated gazebos to the school.
The day was filled with music and succesful sales.
There was also a dance competition where the winners won a prize.
