Learners from WK du Plessis bag full bursaries

Quinton and Leonie were among those to receive full study bursaries at the GCRA.

Matriculants at Dr WK du Plessis School have made Springs and their loved ones proud. Quinton Hattingh and Leonie Brits, the school’s top achievers, received full study bursaries.

The learners, who matriculated with distinctions, were invited to the Gauteng City Region Academy (GCRA) for a bursary handover to top performing matriculants from no-fee paying schools and Learners with Special Educational Needs (LSEN) schools.

The event took place in Midrand with Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi and MEC Matome Chiloane handing out bursaries worth R560m.
