SPCA works out for a good cause
The Springs SPCA received donations of blankets and dog and cat food from the workout for a cause event.
In an effort to raise funds, the Springs SPCA held a “workout for a cause” fitness event on Saturday.
There were 45 participants working out on the lawns, led by the hosts, Born Fierce Functional Fitness.
Springs SPCA chairperson Nicky Meiring said it was a beautiful successful day.
“Thank you to everyone that showed up and supported our fundraiser,” Meiring said.
“Thank you to our volunteers for always being there for our animals. We would not be able to do what we do without you all.”
Proceeds from the event will go towards installing cameras and maintenance at the SPCA.
