These animals await adoption at the Springs SPCA on the corner of Ermelo and Townsend roads in Strubenvale.
Some pups grow up in the kennels of the SPCA.
Though they are safe and well cared for, it would be ideal for them to grow and thrive in proper homes surrounded by a loving family. If you are considering adopting a pet, ask about the ones that need a new home the most.
The SPCA has a system of sponsorship should anyone be unable to adopt. Residents pay a certain amount monthly for food and shelter for an animal of their choice.
The society thanked the public for their donations of dog food and blankets. The community is urged to keep donating.
