SAPS seek intruders for house burglary

The Springs police are investigating a case of house burglary after three intruders broke into a home in Daggafontein on Tuesday morning.

Police are investigating a house burglary on Clydesdale Road in Daggafontein, where intruders gained access to a home early on Tuesday morning.

Springs SAPS police spokesperson Sergeant Themba Tshabalala said a 41-year-old woman woke up to noises outside her house and saw three men trying to break in.

Tshabalala said the woman asked the men who they were, and a few minutes later, they kicked a door open.

“It is alleged the intruders threatened her with a firearm and demanded money from her. They allegedly pulled her outside while kicking and assaulting her,” said Tshabalala.

The intruders fled the scene on foot with money and a cellphone.
