Emergency services visit Laerskool Werda

The Springs SAPS held an emergency exhibition at Laerskool Werda to educate the learners about emergency services departments on Friday.

The exhibition was a joint effort with the Crime Prevention Unit, Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS), Emergency Medical Services (EMS), the Ekurhuleni Mounted Unit, CPF Siyabangena, Gauteng Schools Safety Management and other CPFs.

The programme aims to enrich the participation of emergency organisations in promoting safe and orderly environments for learners.

Springs SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Themba Tshabalala said it was vital learners know what to do when faced with life-threatening situations.
