Here is a look at what is going on in Springs.

• April 27
The Geduld Family Night Market runs every first and last Saturday of the month. The next market runs from 14:00 to 20:00. Support local entrepreneurs with many stalls to browse and delicious food. • April 27
Kwasa College Pre and Primary School in Daggafontein will host a musical celebration in the Welsh tradition featuring the Welsh Male Voice Choir of South Africa. The event will start at 14:30. The Springs Sanathan Ved Dharam Sabha cordially invites community members, family and friends to join in their Annual 108 Hanuman Chalisa Recitals. Redeemed Life is hosting a street shower. Donations are needed to distribute to the less fortunate. The organisation needs toothpaste, toothbrushes, facecloths, roll-ons, clothes for men and women, socks, underwear, shoes and shavers. • May 10
The Springs Senior Citizens Club will hold a Bingo morning on Tuesday. The cost is R40 for eight games, which includes refreshments. Cash prizes to be won. Everyone is welcome. The club is on 1a Seventh Street North, Springs CBD. For more details, call Pauline Houghton 011 811 0098.

• Meat World Springs hosts a food market every Saturday from 06:30 to 14:00. With this, Meat World Springs calls on all vendors to apply to participate. Send your name, ID number and the name and a photograph of the food product you wish to sell for consideration to marketing@meatworld.co.za or call 011 815 1494.

• The Springs Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday. Buy fresh, affordable produce, arts and crafts, delicious food and milk. The venue is Den Akker at President’s Park. It runs from 07:00 to 12:00.
