Planned water supply interruption scheduled

The City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) has scheduled a planned water supply interruption.

The interruption will be from 18:00 on May 23, with the estimated restoration time at 06:00 on May 24.

The interruption that will take place at the Pam Brink Reservoir will affect the following areas:
• New Era
• Selection Park
• Springs CBD
• Springs Extensions
• Geduld and its extensions
• Paul Krugersoord and its extensions

According to the CoE, the reason for this interruption is installing a non-return valve and repairing a leaking pipe on the delivery line to the tower.

Water tankers will not be dispatched to the affected areas.

The CoE reminded its customers to keep their taps closed for the duration of the interruption.
