Applause for marathon performance of Springs officers

Springs police officers received applause for their remarkable participation in the 97th Comrades Marathon last Sunday.

A group of police officers from Springs SAPS received praise for their performance in the challenging 97th Comrades Marathon, showcasing both athleticism and community spirit.

The officers are Sergeant Jabulani Nkwinika, Constable Halalisani Dlomo, Sergeant Phuti Mpati and Sergeant Mmeselane Ramoshu.

Station commander Brigadier Raymond Buthelezi congratulated the officers, citing they had put Springs on the map.

“Your participation in the marathon displayed unity and athleticism that serve as a shining example of the positive impact law enforcement can have when actively engaging with the communities they serve.”

Colonel Karen Stolz added: “I would like to congratulate our athletes; as much as they have to be fit, it also takes mental discipline to conquer those hours and kilometres. You made us proud; keep shining.”
