Entity hosts women’s high tea for good cause

Diakonos Events and Fundraisers will host its annual high tea on August 17 at the Riverside Country Estate.

This year’s gathering will welcome 300 women for a day dedicated to celebrating and acknowledging women’s remarkable contributions and challenges faced in 2024.

The high tea will feature participation from several notable ministries, NPOs and charities, including Vita Nova, Epilepsy South Africa, and Call Her Blessed.

“The event will celebrate the dedicated women working in NPOs who serve the Springs community,” said Corne Steyn, the event organiser.

Tickets cost R300, which includes a goodie bag and a book.

“Attendees will enjoy a day filled with fun and recognition of the women of Springs, all for a good cause,” Steyn added.
