Budding hiking club celebrates Women’s Month

The next excursion will be in November.

The up-and-coming hiking club, Aero-Hikers Crew, celebrated Women’s Month with an excursion on August 10.

The club, which was born from two other local clubs in March 2023, completed their third hiking trip at Adventure Zone Hiking Trails.

One of the organisers, Morena Selepe, says they are looking forward to becoming a big family that experiences the importance of nature.

“The members who embark on this are from different locations like Welgedacht, Kwatsaduza, Etwatwa, Daveyton, Soweto and Tembisa,” said Selepe.
