Springs to celebrate rhinos in November

The time draws near for the highly-anticipated event of the year.

The people of Springs are called to a cause as big as the town’s heart.

This November, Springsites are invited to participate in a day of fun, teamwork and adventure that will bring them together for a common cause – the protection of rhinos in Limpopo.

The rhinos are the pride and joy of the D’Arrigo family and, in collaboration with Insimbi Legacy Projects, they will bring to Springs a once-in-a-lifetime event, OUR Amazing Race.

Those who participate can register as teams of two or four members for an action-packed adventure that will be the ultimate test of body and mind.

The teams will tackle various brain-teasing challenges, including:

• Stop ‘n Go;
• geocaching;
• collectables;
• an escape room;
• a photo challenge;
• safari games.

The entry fees are R600 for a team of two and R1 000 for a team of four.

Prizes will be awarded to the first- and second-placed teams and others like the best-dressed team and the team showing the best team spirit, among others.

There is limited space open and teams are urged to soon register and secure their spots. All proceeds will go towards rhino conservation efforts.

Our Amazing Race will be held from 11:00 on November 2 at the Springs Mall. The theme is Out of Africa.
