Here is a look at what is going on in Springs.

• September 27
Springs and Kwa-Thema Child Welfare Society is hosting their annual AGM. They invite all community members to join the meeting. It will take place at 10:00 at 8 Ceres Road, Pollak Park. For more information call Rose on 081 534 9652.

• October 1
The Springs Senior Citizens Club will be holding a Bingo morning at 10:00. The cost is R40 for eight games which includes refreshments. Cash prizes to be won. Everyone is welcome. The club is situated at 1a Seventh Street North, Springs CBD. For more details contact Pauline 011 811 0098.

• October 5
The Geduld Karate Club is hosting a family market. Explore diverse stalls offering fascinating goods. The market will take place at Geduld Karate Club, 33 5th Avenue, Geduld. For further details call Hendrehet on 082 569 8495.

• November 2
Insimbi Legacy Projects is hosting their annual Amazing Race in Springs. The starting point will be at Springs Mall and the race will consist of six challenges to compete all over town. Entry fees are R600 for a team of two and R1 000 for a team of four. For more information contact Sharon Jansen van Rensburg on 083 626 6528.

• Meat World Springs hosts a food market every Saturday from 06:30 to 14:00. With this, Meat World Springs is calling on all vendors to apply to participate. Send your name, ID number and the name and a photograph of the food product you wish to sell for consideration to marketing@meatworld.co.za or call 011 815 1494.

• The Springs Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday. Buy fresh, affordable produce, arts and crafts, delicious food and milk. The venue is Den Akker at President’s Park and it runs from 07:00 to 12:00.
