Here’s what to do in Springs

Here is a look at what is going on in Springs.

• October 18
The Gauteng Provincial Commissioner will host a community engagement at the Bakerton Community Hall. The proceedings will start at 15:00 and everyone is welcome.

• November 2
Insimbi Legacy Projects will host its annual Amazing Race in Springs. The starting point will be at the Springs Mall and the race will have six challenges to compete all over town. Entry fees are R600 for a team of two and R1 000 for a team of four. For more information, contact Sharon Jansen van Rensburg on 083 626 6528.

• 9 November
Die Springs se Kersiemark gaan uitstal by die Horse and Hound in Paul Kruger van 08:00 tot 17:00 met vars kersies, lekker kos, speelplek en ‘n vlooimark. Uitstallers wat wil verkoop by die mark kan Anneke Swart kontak op 067 074 8402.

• Meat World Springs hosts a food market every Saturday from 06:30 to 14:00. With this, Meat World Springs calls on all vendors to apply to participate. Send your name, ID number and the name and a photograph of the food product you wish to sell for consideration to marketing@meatworld.co.za or call 011 815 1494.

• The Springs Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday. Buy fresh, affordable produce, arts and crafts, delicious food and milk. The venue is Den Akker at President’s Park and it runs from 07:00 to 12:00.
