Designating a specific area for schoolwork can make a world of difference. Whether it’s a corner in the dining room or a dedicated study room, a clutter-free, well-lit space helps improve focus.
Organised storage solutions:
Establishing a drop zone for backpacks, shoes, and lunchboxes near the entrance can save precious minutes during the chaotic morning rush. Adding extra storage in bedrooms or common areas can help keep books, stationery, and supplies neatly tucked away.
Tech enabled spaces:
The modern school experience often involves tech in some shape or form. Reliable internet, charging stations, and adequate outlets are essentials. Make sure there is a plug point near the dedicated study space and consider adding a Wi-Fi extender if the space is far away from the home’s main internet router.

Outdoor areas are great for decompressing after a long day of learning. Whether it’s a yard for soccer practice or living near to a park or beach where the children can play, the right home can offer much-needed balance, which will help with concentration when it’s time to buckle down for homework.
