The CoE apologises to the residents with regards to the overgrown grass all over town.

The Springs Advertiser has been inundated with service delivery complaints regarding grass-cutting in Springs.

Long tufts of bushes and grass are seen everywhere, with some residents taking it upon themselves to cut the grass and clean up.

CoE spokesperson Zweli Dlamini says the municipality is are aware of the issues surrounding the grass and its maintenance.

“Teams have already been deployed to cut the grass. It must also be added that the weather has had an impact to our efforts to address the situation but teams are already busy on the ground.”
