Give a loving home to a furry friend
The Springs SPCA urges the community to adopt or sponsor animals in need and support their work through donations and YapScan.
These animals await adoption at the Springs SPCA on the corner of Ermelo and Townsend roads, Strubenvale.
Some pups grow up in the SPCA’s kennels, and while they are safe and well cared for, it would be ideal for them to grow and thrive in loving homes with families of their own.
If you are considering adopting a pet, ask about those who need homes most urgently. For those unable to adopt, the SPCA has a sponsorship programme. Residents can sponsor an animal of their choice by covering the monthly cost of food and shelter.
The society thanked the public for donations of dog food and blankets and urged the community to continue supporting the shelter.
For more information, contact the SPCA on 082 668 5230.
YapScan is a free app that helps pet owners trace missing dogs. By downloading and registering, users also help the shelter as a R10 donation goes to the Springs SPCA for every completed registration.
