Springs Old Boys invited to unite at annual old assembly

Springs Old Boys will once again step into the halls of their former school as the second Old Boys Assembly invites alumni and supporters to share in a celebration of legacy and brotherhood.

Springs Boys’ High School is calling on its proud brotherhood to return to where it all began. The school invites all former learners, staff members, the Mothers Club, and SGB members to the Old Boys Assembly at Bob Gouldie Hall on August 1 at 07:30.

This will be the second time the school hosts this event after its debut last year.

The principal, Diane Freeman, said, “The purpose is to merge the past with the present. We want the boys to know their brothers.”

Freeman, having been at the school for 38 years, says it is important for the learners to be inspired by those who came before them and to cherish the school’s legacy.

Attendees must wear their school blazer if possible. To RSVP for catering and seating, contact 011 818 2175 or use the email alumni@sbhs.co.za
