Dr. WK Du Plessis holds Halala SA revue with intersen and D-CAPS learners
The production was described as an awesome event.
Dr WK du Plessis School hosted a Halala South Africa-themed revue on October 1 and 2, with learners showcasing their talent on stage.
Learners began practising in the third term, and intersen department head Janie Horn expressed immense pride in their efforts.
“This spectacular revue was a true milestone in our new school hall,” she said.
“It marks our first production since before Covid, and amidst the ongoing demolition and rebuild that began in 2022. I am incredibly proud of every learner who practised and danced their hearts out.
“I’m grateful to every dedicated staff member who ensured the success of the evening for the whole school community.
“We also want to extend a huge thank you to Maureen Dominques from Springsgate Pick n Pay. It is the vital support from local businesses like this that truly makes these wonderful events possible,” she concluded.
