Two new ActionSA councillors sworn in to serve the City of Ekurhuleni
The City of Ekurhuleni has sworn in Surprise Xolani Khumalo and Gavin Monyaku Siti as the municipality’s newest ActionSA councillors, reinforcing the party’s presence in local government.
The city officially welcomed two new ActionSA councillors on November 10 as Surprise Xolani Khumalo and Gavin Monyaku Siti were sworn in during a ceremony at the Office of the Speaker, OR Tambo Government Precinct, Civic Centre.
The swearing-in was officiated by Council Speaker Clr Nthabiseng Tshivhenga, marking an essential step in strengthening democratic representation and citizen engagement within the city.
“The City of Ekurhuleni is committed to upholding good governance and ensuring that all councillors serve the best interests of our communities.
We welcome councillors Khumalo and Siti and look forward to their contributions in council deliberations,” the municipality said in a statement.
