The Springs Town Bowling Club ladies were hosted by the Benoni Country Club at Delville in Germiston on January 31.

Although the venue was changed at the last minute, the Springs ladies were able to secure four points out of six.

Chairperson Tokkie Hattingh said that the ladies had a great time away and are proud of the game they played.

“Although we arrived late due to the circumstances, we are able to play to the best of our abilities, and we cannot wait to play the other clubs at home,” she said.

The local club will host the last league game on February 14, featuring various clubs with 48 members playing on the greens.
