Body of a man in his 30s found in Gugulethu
A man’s body was discovered lying in a pool of blood in Gugulethu on Sunday.
A woman found the body of a man in his 30s on Makola Street in Gugulethu on Sunday.
She lives in the area and informed the Springs SAPS that she found the man lying in a pool of blood.
According to SAPS communications officer Sergeant Themba Tshabalala, when the police arrived, they found the man lying on his back.
“The deceased had two stab wounds to his back, four to his chest, and his throat was cut,” said Tshabalala.
“He was dressed in blue jeans, a light green jacket and grey and black socks.”
The deceased’s maroon takkies were next to his body. The paramedics arrived on the scene and declared the victim dead.
The police opened an inquest docket.
