A stolen vehicle was recovered in Springs after being hijacked in Germiston on September 3.

Following intelligence and tracking information, a joint team consisting of the Springs SAPS, Vampire Security, Rentrack and Sundra CPF carried out an operation to trace the vehicle.

“Upon arrival, the vehicle was found stripped. The crime scene was secured and handed over to police for further investigation,” said the Vampire Security owner.

He added that one suspect was arrested during the operation and taken into police custody as the investigation continues.

“Thank you to all role players for the swift response and excellent teamwork that led to this recovery and arrest,” he concluded.
