Springs residents can win a R1 000 prize from Elco City Butchery by submitting photos of their September 24 Braai Day celebrations.

To enter, host a fun braai on September 24 with your household, friends, or family, take a photo of the festive moment, and send it in.

How to enter:

• Submit a braai photo taken on September 24. Naturally, we can’t use a magnifying glass to verify exactly when the photo was taken, so we are relying on your honesty.
• There must be at least one person in the photo, but the more people, the merrier.
• If there are fewer than five people in the photo, we need the full names and surnames of everyone present.
• Indicate where the photo was taken.
• Provide a contact number.
• Only residents of Springs may enter.
• If you live in Springs but decide to host your braai elsewhere, you can still participate.
• The winner will be contacted telephonically and must be available to collect the prize from the sponsor.
• Please note that the winning photo, and possibly other entries, may appear in the Springs Advertiser, as well as on our website and social media platforms.
• The judges’ decision is final, and prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
• There is only one way to enter: Send your photo, preferably in JPEG format, to thelma@caxton.co.za
• The closing date is September 28 at 09:00.
