Winning swing
Springs Stealers won their game against South Stars this weekend with an end score of 22-10.

Francois McGregor started on the mound for Stealers and only allowed one run in the first inning of the game as the fielders made the required three outs.
The Stealers batters came out firing and got six runs batting through the whole line-up.
South Stars were unable to score in their second batting and when Stealers were back in to bat, extended their lead by a further four runs.
The scoring seemed to even out over the next two innings as each side scored a run each and in the bottom of the fifth Stealers once again surged forward with another five runs giving them a 17-3 lead.
But South Stars would not go quietly and after a few lapses in concentration and throws going astray on the Stealers side, they managed to put seven more runs on the board.
Stealers had the last batting inning and put nails in the coffin with another five more runs sealing their victory 22-10.
The best batter on the day was Jules Tancrel who hit four for four with three ground rule doubles.
On Sunday, the Stealers play at home at Springs Old Boys against Eagles at 10am.
