Striders’ runners completed Comrades
A successful Comrades marathon for 21 members of Springs Striders Athletic Club.
Springs Striders Athletic Club’s 21 athletes completed the Comrades marathon on Sunday.
Two novices entered the race for the first time and did well.
Andries van der Walt finished in 11:21;39 and Winnie Mbukwana in 11:29;39.
Preggie Govender competed for the 10th time in 11:56;59 and received his permanent number.

The Aches and Pains event will take place on Saturday at Pope John hall, corner of Queens and Cavendish streets, Brakpan, at 6pm.
