Winter Club Championships played in the rain
Despite the cold and wet weather, members of the Springs Country Club still turned up for the club's Winter Club Championships on Saturday.
Men and women took part in the championships that took place over the weekend.
The A division winner is Simon Kgwadi with 154 gross and runner up Koos Erasmus with 157 gross.
The best overall player is Bennie de Lange with 141 nett.
Jose Carrazon is the best nett player in his division with 70 points and Mzwandile Madi was the best nett player on Sunday with a score of 70.
The B division winner is Gawie Greef with 159 gross and the runner up is Arnoldus Viljoen with 168 gross.
Ras Jacobs is best nett overall player with a 146 score.
Saturday’s best nett player is Nicky Minnaar with 69 points.
Johan Kruger is Sunday’s best nett with a total of 70.
In the C division Jaco du Plessis won with 183 gross.
The runner up is Hennie Muller with 184 gross.
Werner Krause is the best nett overall player with 141 points.
The best nett player on Saturday is Dion van Vuuren with 70 points.
Sunday’s best nett player is Piet de Wet is on 73 points.
