Springs Town’s first premier league

The women bowlers took second place with six points.

Springs Town Bowling Club played in the Ekurhuleni Premier Women’s League Bowling competition for the first time.

The league was played at Springs Town Bowling Club on Saturday.

Pinky Maphosa and partners, Ulrika Swanepoel, Yvonne Lotter, Tokkie Hattingh and Talita Coetzee played against Alberton.

They ended in second place with six points, which was well deserved for first time premier players.

The Men’s First League played in Edenvale and they won their game with six points.

Club secretary Izak Hattingh says the teams did well and earned their premier status with their win at the leauge.

The third league earned four points.
