Highlanders takes first and second place
The Super 16 golf tournament held at the Springs Country Club on Saturday was won by the Highlanders.
This team scored 98 points.
The winning individual scored 45 points on the day.
During this Betterball Stableford competition two couples from the Highlanders took first and second place.
In first place is Shirley van Wyk and Magda Pienaar with 50 points, and in second place is Graig Melville and Dougie Zeeman with 48 points.
Club secretary Bennie de Lange says when you add the two scores you get the 98 winning points.
The Blue Bulls couple, Vera Marie Willemse and Lappies Labuschagne, scored 46 points.
In fourth place is Tobie Truter and Stefan Prinsloo, from the Stormers team, with scored 46 pints.
Willem Hunter and Connie Wiid represented the Western Force team and scored 45 points.
Alan Loxton took nearest the pin at the eighth hole and Raymond Garside at hole 12.
