Highlanders win Saturday’s battle

The winning team of the day was the Highlanders with 92 points.

Chris Ngwenya was the winning individual of the day with 40 points.

In the Betterball Stableford competition, the following members scored:

• First place: Bruce Reynolds and Brain Johnson with 47 points
• Second place: Gawie Greef and Chris Marais with 46 points
• Third place : Connie Wiid and William Hunter with 45 points

Nearest the pin were:

• Andrew Kurtain at number two
• Chris Erasmus at number 12

The club competition also took place on the day and of the 32 players, the winners were as follows:

• First place: Bruce Reynolds and Brain Johnson with 47 points
• Second place: Frikkie Colyn and Ian Johnson with 43 points
