Championships in full swing

Dominico Ragusa and Stephen Coetzee beat Dirk Coetzee and Johan Bruwer in the Men’s Selected Pairs with 28-8 points.

In the Men’s Handicap Singles Izak Hattingh beat Tony Tancrel with 21-13 points, while Herkie van der Bergh beat George Wright 21-13.

All the winners are through to the next round.

Social bowls is played every Tuesday and Thursday at 8.30am for 9am and on Saturday at 1pm for 1.30pm.

No club competitions will be played on Saturday due to the Bowls Fun Day, which starts at 9am.

There will be a flea market, jumping castle, bowls and a cash bar.

Izak, competition secretary, says club members must please take note that on April 9 and 10, the club’s Open Singles Championship will be played.

The scratch rule will apply.
