Several wins for Bakerton cricket teams

The Bakerton cricket teams can count this weekend as another successful period of cricketing.

During the Promotion League match on Sunday, at Olympia Park, Bakerton won by 174 runs.

They scored 277/10 in 49.3 overs, against Wattville, who scored 104/10 in 20.3 overs.

Bakerton also came out on top against Vosloorus, winning by 90 runs in group one of the Presidents League.

Vosloorus earned 103/10 in 19 overs, while Bakerton scored 104/4 in 13.5 overs.

In group two of the league, Bakerton was defeated by seven wickets against Tokoza who scored 64/3 in eight overs.

Bakerton earned 62/10 in 23 overs.

In the Directors League, on Sunday, United won by six wickets against Bakerton.

United scored 122/4 in 16 overs, while Bakerton scored 121/10 in 31.2 overs.

The junior results are:

U/8B lost against Boksburg, but the u/10 and u/12 teams beat Kempton Park.
