Teams heading to finals
The Super 16 semi-finals took place at the Springs Country Club on Saturday.
Despite the threat of imminent rain, the teams persevered to ‘battle it out’ for a spot in the finals.
The teams that qualified for the semi-finals were the Bulls, Stormers, Blues and Lions.
After taking on the Stormers, the Lions came out on top, effectively removing the Stormers from the list.
The Bulls took a beating against the Blues and joined the Stormers.
The Lions and the Blues will face-off on November 4 in the Super 16 finals to see who will be the winning team.
Forty-three players took part in the Betterball Stableford Club Competition also held on Saturday.
Riaan van Dyk and Fielies Willemse came in first place with 50 points on count out.
In second place were Lyndy Stone Scott-Parkin and Attie Fourie with 50 points on count out.
The senior and junior club championships will be held on Saturday and Sunday at the club.
On Saturday, the club will also host the President’s Day.
