Tennis tournament continues despite bad weather

The Selection Park Tennis Club is hosting a handicap tournament which was well underway irrespective of the rainy weather.

On Saturday a few of the matches of the round robin were played.

“We had a nice braai on Saturday at around 1pm, seeing that we started at 11am.

“We had music playing and the atmosphere was great and energetic, everyone enjoyed themselves.

“We carried on, on Sunday morning and had a lovely day of sunshine and managed to finish a lot of matches,” explains Deidré Vrey.

The tournament will be concluded on Saturday.
